I'm sure that everyone has already seen this, but there is a security
hole in all 2.2 kernels (2.2.18 and below, actually). Apparently there
is a race condition with ptrace and execve. It's only a threat if
someone already has shell access to your system, and this exploit will
give them root. However, combined with other attacks that can get a
limited shell, this could be a problem. Here is a link to the
