This is true. I have an IMAP server running that I can connect to using
Netscape on either Windoze or Linux. All of the mail stays on the server
so that I can change platforms easily, and I don't lose everything
everytime I have to reinstall windoze ;-). If you do have to mount the
fail folders for whatever reason, then under the Mail Server properties,
there is an option for "Local Mail Folders Directory" which you can set
to the top level directory that contains the subfolders.
