One charge leveled against Open Source is that it's just a bunch of 
"college kids" hacking.  I knew I'd seen the article somewhere that 
refutes that, and here it is:

Note not only the education and years of experience, but that 1/3 of the 
kernel hackers surveyed get paid for kernel hacking - more proof Open 
Source pays!

Thought for today:  bump vt. 

 Synonym for increment.  Has the same meaning as
   C's ++ operator.  Used esp. of counter variables, pointers, and
   index dummies in for, while, and do-while
   loops.
