Paul, and everyone else I think those are good suggestions, but as you say this is an informal group and each Chair should take it upon himself to find out what his attendees desire. For the GNHLUG meetings, I think we probably need to agree that probably the alcohol in the meeting is not in the best interest of all, but I haven't seen any abuses or had any complaints to date. But as we hope to expand our membership, it is probably prudent to take this step starting with the next quarterly meeting. As for cancellations, this is entirely up to each Chapter Chair, though your suggestions are also well spoken. One of the reason's Bruce Dawson put up the GTwiki was so that maybe we (Chairs, etc) would coordinate speakers etc. It would behoove all of us Chapter Chairs to ask those who have spoken, want to speak, or anyone we know who can give a presentation to volutneer to be put on our speaker list and indicate how late we can contact them for a subsitute role.
