All, Since I didn't make it to tonights CNHLUG meeting, I'll mention this on the list instead. There is a great article in this months Linux Journal on Bastille-Linux. It steps through download, installation, and configuration. Anyone interested in securing a Linux system should take a look at the article, as well as the software itself. It's great for beginners because it explains what it does and why. For people that have been doing security for a while, it can be tweaked to speed up the process of locking down a box by setting up a non-interactive configuration and running it on several boxes.
