MS Works 3.0 or 4.0 - most likely ones from that time frame.
The communication files can't be converted - not that you'd need them.
The database files you have to open in Works and save as dBase or Text
(TSV or CSV). Nothing can convert the forms. You'll get just the data.
The spreadsheet format also has to be exported to Excel, Lotus or Tab
Text. It cannot be converted outside of Works.
MS Word 97 or higher can read Works 3.0 or higher (though not earlier
versions), if you've loaded the converters during install. Then save as
RTF or Word. Alternatively, go into Works and save each as RTF.
Microsoft used to have a Works to Word converter, but I can't locate it
now.
