Yup, and it's a lot of fun, too.

I have a Lucent WaveLan Silver; I think the Bronze and Gold are similar
enough that they'll work similarly.  Just make sure that it is the IEEE
802.11, and not the older, proprietary version.  It comes with Linux
drivers in the box (and also, I think, in more recent kernels; I don't
remember having to do much to get it working the last time I tried). 
I'm using it with an Apple Airport hub and I had more trouble with that
than with the WaveLan card under Linux.  The instructions weren't very
clear and I think there has been a software upgrade or two since I had
all the trouble with it, anyway.
