If you've all been wondering, and I'm sending this "blind" not knowing if Bruce or someone else has attempted to notify the world, but... ... the Compaq facility at Spit Brook Road, Nashua, which hosts the 'gnhlug' mailing list, was hit by a power failure this morning. Had I arrived literally one minute later than I did, I'd have actually witnessed the lightening arrestor protect the facility from a purported surge in the south Nashua area. We're gradually getting things back on the air, and we're proceeding cautiously to avoid sending surges around within our own site as well as back out into the neighborhood.
