Hi all,

Since there seems to be some precedent for this, and since my motives are
truly atruistic (it's not ME that's out of work!) I have a friend who is a
UNIX senior system admin, who got laid off from RSA Security in Bedford? MA
last week.

If anyone has a need for someone with his experience (see below) contact me
privately and I will hook you up.

[Most recent] EXPERIENCE:

06/99-present: RSA Security Inc. :

Sr. Systems Administrator:

Supported the day to day UNIX needs of roughly 150 programmers and software
engineers. This included Suns, H/P's and AIX (IBM) RS6000's. Was trouble
shooting system and network performance issues and thus had to work hand in
hand with the Networking Group. Instituted a number of security measures
as, oddly, there was little network security when I first arrived.
Instituted tripwire as a security measure on the infrastructure systems and
to track changes on the development systems. Began running Crack 5.0 to
tighten password security and installed sudo on all of the development
systems, as the root password was quite out of control. Assisted in the
installation of a Legato Backup Solution for development and infrastructure
systems, on the three platforms mentioned above.

(Thanks for everyone's patience and consideration!)
