I guess I should say what I'm talking about. I'm calling my presentation
"Home Internet Security", and hope to cover the why and the basic how of
securing a Linux-based Internet host for the average home user. In
particular, I plan on mercilessly beating the dead horse "Why Security Is
Important". As for the how: Basic analysis and configuration of running
services, plus a basic IPCHAINS firewall script. More advanced topics will
be mentioned but not covered. Q&A to follow, heckling throughout.
