If only it were so easy. I've spent the last year trying to convince the
local management (without success) that it might be a good idea to wait
until there's at least a preliminary project plan before promising delivery
dates to the senior execs. Even after being burned, they don't seem to get
it. I swear Scott Adams has a spy working here...
