In my reading to get my camera working again, I notice
that the module usb-storage module is built on
top of the scsi layer. Which means I have to have
scsi support in my kernel. I'm using RedHat 7.1 release
with the stock kernel for that release. When I look at
/proc to see if I have scsi define, I see no directory for the scsi.
Does this mean that scsi was not compiled in the kernel? I would
have thought it was, because my camera did work, Once upon a time.
