My ex-sister-in-law used to work for the ARC out of Manchester (NH),
and told me that they will be opening up their facility sometime today
(if they haven't already); she's been put on stand-by to help. As soon
as I have definitive info, I'll pass it along.
A reminder to those of us who donate regularly - they normally make us
wait 56 days between donations. I don't know if that has been waived
or not, but if you have donated recently, please check the calendar so
that you will be ready to donate ASAP if you can't today or tomorrow.
If you've not donated before, it's real easy, although there are a
number of potential disqualifying factors, such as having lived in, or
travelled recently, to certain parts of the world (e.g., the UK due to
Mad Cow Disease, or central Africa due to HIV), etc. Please take the
time, if at all possible, to check their web page, and please wait
patiently in line if and when you do come down to give.
Thank you,
Bayard
