Following this e-mail shortly will be 3 alerts from the EFF sent to
me by Jeff Smith.
In the wake of the recent tradgedies it appears that Congress has
decided that it'll be okay with most of us to forsake some of our
civil liberties and security so that law enforcement agencies can
eavesdrop on our communication and surveil us at will.
<sarcasm amount="pour it on">
Of course they promise that the law enforcement agencies will have to
at least get authority from a "quasi-judicial" entity, so I'm sure
things are going to be "just fine", since the gov't really is looking
out for "our best interests"!
