You mean like box cutters? Or how about a Glock 9mm, it's ceramic,
won't show up on a metal detector. And I bet you can get ceramic
buttets, or maybe hide them in a something like, oh, say a laptop
where they'll get lost in the clutter of all the other metal!

How about just sticking one unencrypted letter in an envelope
addressed to Afghanistan and encapsulating that in another outer
envelope addressed to someone in England? Do that a few times and
now *all* mail will need to be pre-opened and read before leaving the
country!

Let me paraphrase:

        YOU CAN'T LEGISLATE HUMAN BEHAVIOR!

or,

WHERE'S THERE'S A WILL, THEY'LL FIGURE OUT HOW TO BREAK THE
LAW OR EASILY GET AROUND IT!!!

Hmmm, this is beginning to sound like the mantra:

If you outlaw guns, pretty soon only the criminals will have them!

So, I guess what we need is the NRA or something equivalent. Let's
roll our own. Everyone join the EFF RIGHT NOW!

>It will damage our economy. It will damage our privacy. It will damage
>our freedom. Passing these laws is nothing more than letting the
>terrorists claim victory.

You know, I've heard that several times and I disagree with it. The
terrorists have no interest in changing our lifestyle or messing with
our way of life. What they really and trully want is to END OUR
LIVES. All of them, not just 6000 people in NYC and a couple hundred
at the Pentagon. Ultimately they want the USofA to physically cease
to exist. Therefore, all we're doing by passing these laws is making
our remaining time here more miserable than it has to be!
