Windows XP unveiled

Microsoft (MSFT) is reporting that new
XP is the most reliable and stable
OS ever yet developed. Independent
laboratories and government organizations
have been unable to refute this claim.

Dr. I.C. Spotz of the NSA computer science
research dept. "Indeed, it seemed remarkably
stable, secure, and reliable. Our intensive
suite of tests have been unable to shake
even one brick loose. I was quite amazed."

Dr. Spotz then dug a little deeper and discovered
the reason behind his amazement. "What I have
found is that Windows XP is actually not a new
OS after all. Windows XP is a not so cleverly
disguised binary distribution of the Linux
operating system." claims Spotz. "It really
didn't take much to unveil it. I simply used
the 'strings' command and there it was!"

Dr. Spotz has since been taken into custody for
breaking the DCMA which prohibits such
snooping. He has been unavailable for further
comment.
