So much so, I'm willing to bet a lot of business types would completely miss, or mis-understand exactly what that means! I.e. that the ONLY way to build an environment to suite your exact needs is to first analyze what those needs are, evaluate *ALL* possible options, then, and only then, can you decide what suites your needs. Too often, CIOs and CEOs settle for a solution, only then to realize that in order for it to work correctly for them, they need to change their entire way of doing business in order to fit the practices of which ever "solution" they chose. With an Open solution, they no longer need to bend and contort to the wishes of the software, but rather, they can bend and contort the software to their own needs and practices. Too bad more C[I,E]Os don't read this list.
