  Yet another case of the vendor "doing you a favor" that did not really
work out.

  Of course, if you follow this complaint to the logical conclusion, all the
Linux distributions would have to be reduced to a collection of unconfigured
source packages.  The vendors have to do *something*, and for any given
option, there has to be a default.

  Where do we draw the line?
