This is not specifically Linux related but it has fairly great impact to many of us.
I am very confused by all of this Excite@Home stuff and it's possible impact. Once upon a time I was a MediaOne customer. My accounts still reflect this. They apparently use the Road Runner service, but I don't think that's an important piece of information. At some point MediaOne got bought by someone, which I'm pretty sure was Excite@Home. This change lasted for at least a week (OK, maybe a little longer) and then they were, in turn, bought by AT&T. I pay AT&T each month for my Internet access. So, is my history correct? Do we, in New Hampshire, need to worry about all of this Excite@Home stuff? If so, why? I thought the AT&T purchase was completed at least a year ago. I did get a letter in the mail, from AT&T, with the usual platitudes regarding the Excite@Home situation, indicating some sort of tie to Excite@Home.
