The other day I got angry and in a fit of rage su'd to root and rm'd /home of my desktop boxen. Today I got a hold of SuSE 7.3 pro! I have got a problem I have yet to encounter as usaully I try to avoid such problems...I can't get sound to work. I am 100% new to SuSE and this is very sexy and it was a long install so I don't want to screw anything up (once I get used to YaST that will all change). How would I get a generic (intel I think) sound card (built into motherboard) to work (on a HP PAVILION 7855). I'm using these cheap but good Labtec speakers (all though it probably doesn't matter) and I want to hear them pump out some pink floyd!
Also I was wondering if anyone knew of any (internet) documentation about the layout of SuSE so I can RTFM when I run into some more trouble? thanks CmdrRoot ***************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the text 'unsubscribe gnhlug' in the message body. *****************************************************************
