  Heh.

  We eventually got a wired LAN up and running, and had reasonably good
success with VNC.  Paul was harassed somewhat when we discovered we could
mess with his keyboard and mouse remotely using VNC -- that was either a
success or a failure, depending on your point-of-view.  ;-)

  The wireless aspect went less well.  We discovered (too late) that the
wireless stuff for Linux appears to default to "infrastructure" mode (i.e.,
it wants to connect to a wireless access point/base station).  Since we did
not have a WAP, and some of us did not even have the tools needed to tweak
the wireless settings, it was basically a bust.  One person did manage to
connect to some local company's NetWare LAN, though!  :-)
