This depends.  I know that there is a program for Windows that does Word to (La)TeX
that has a (La)TeX to Word program on the way.  See http://www.word2tex.com/ for
more info.

Otherwise you're just going to have to copy into Word (or AbiWord, etc.) and
reformat manually.  It sucks, but I've done it.

Lately I just use pdfLaTeX and tell people to get the FREE Acrobat reader and deal
with it.  The number of recruiters/headhunters that had trouble with that was
amazing...
