Question about server prices

What price should I expect for a dual SCSI port RAID array?
Actually, I might as well ask the question behind the question:

I am trying to suggest a Linux configuration for a statewide application server.
Instead of a 4-6 server NT monster, I would like a 2-3 server Linux option.
This would be two database / application / web servers, with the application / web server
running on one, and the database running on the other.
Using heartbeat, or equivalent, and dual ported RAID; if one fails, the other
takes over all three functions. Another possibility would be a three server
configuration, with a triple ported RAID unit, or Network Storage Server.
