Truth be told, I'd say that that's a great argument *for* running a nameserver. Then you never have to worry about the address changing, as your client could then query your "server," and that (private) address would be static. I know one guy who ran a nameserver on his notebook, so he never had to worry about resolution issues, regardless of where he was (on the road, in the office, etc.). -Ken > > TIA > > -- > -Time flies like the wind.
