The 3800 is listed as supported, but I see no mention of setting CPU speed. You might want to investigate the "CONFIG_I8K" kernel option and this link: http://people.debian.org/~dz//i8k/ Try to find a Dell specific mailing list and ask there. That's how I find new toys for my Toshiba laptop. (on a Toshiba specific list, of course) - -- -Matt The world really isn't any worse. It's just that the news coverage is so much better. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8se3Yc8/WFSz+GKMRAkCSAJ9kbVt9VjdwUsbaAHnycdZD0aesuwCgqr8P Gq46ZuHz0h1EPpdefPb6y0Y= =dW60 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ***************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the text 'unsubscribe gnhlug' in the message body. *****************************************************************
