My experience with DocBook is that the only people who *want* to use it are people who enjoy writing documentation, and they're all crazy anyway... ;-) Last I checked (not very recent, but I believe still accurate -- correct me please if I'm mistaken), there were no WYSIWYG tools (or anything similar) that adequately generated DocBook format, and the multitudinous tags are (IMO) excessively long and tedious to deal with. I believe Lyx had rudimentary DocBook support last I looked, but not especially usable...
