The last time I used my mother's machine while here AOL
connection was up, it sure did look like the machine was
a fairly well behaved IP-connected box following all
the IP rules and working just like you'd want it to -
I could telnet and ping and FTP to anywhere I liked and
I was completely unaware of AOL.
