Huh? I'm not an old time Unix hack by any means, but I have been playing around with Red Hat Linux since version 2.1 (still have the CD, if anyone wants a copy), and I have never logged in to a Red Hat box that did not have /sbin in root's path. They do not include it in a regular user's path, true, but root gets it. Are you sure you're not thinking of /usr/local/sbin or something? -- Ben Scott <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | The opinions expressed in this message are those of the author and do not | | necessarily represent the views or policy of any other person, entity or | | organization.
