I recently purchased a 995 since they dropped the price, and as I recall from the reviews I read, mostly people were complaining about how they changed the lens housing from metal to plastic and they didn't like the proprietary battery. Since I'm really careful with my stuff the housing didn't really bother me, and I like the battery because it charges really fast.
