There are two solutions, one is use WebSockets over https the same as any
website. The second is that since Gnoga uses a single pipe for
communications, it is easy to encrypt and decrypt that connection at both
ends. I'll post more information about both solutions over the next weeks.
But secure transmission is an important feature for me.

We share the same requirement. One reason for Gnoga is for using in my
medical clinics for similar purposes.

Gnoga is ideal for HIPPA compliance since the entire application, data,
etc. is all server side not the client. The only missing part is to encrypt
over the wire the patient information, https can provide that or encryption
of the Gnoga sockets.
