In your source directory, running "make distcheck" should create a
tarball with the version number defined in your configure.in file.
(It used to be recommended that you ran "make" and "make install"
before "make distcheck", but I don't know if that's still required.)
Once the tarball is uploaded, don't forget to tag the CVS source with
the version you've just created too, e.g. GNOME_MAG_2_15_2.
I also don't have a shell account, so I can't upload packages.
There is
someone that could do this for me?
I'll be uploading my own packages today too, so I can do it if you
like. As a maintainer of a core GNOME package, though, you should be
able to get a shell account set up pretty quickly... have you asked?
