Since some setup is required to turn-on accessibility anyway, I'm not sure that it is such a big deal that GDM requires you to configure to use gdmlogin instead of gdmgreeter for accessibility. Note that for many a11y needs, gdmgreeter does work okay. I have heard that it works okay with text-to-speech and braille. GDM probably can be configured to work with GOK, but since gdmgreeter does not support STRUTS getting the gdmgreeter theme and GOK to play well together is probably a bit of work. > See bug: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355005 > > Does anyone know how we can make progress on this? Also note the following bugs relating to a11y in gdmgreeter: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363003 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380575 I think these three bugs cause a11y to not work so well when using gdmgreeter.
