Thanks for the reply.  I had a bug in my prototype code - I am now
getting the parent Accessible of every child.  Also, thanks for the code
pointer.

I haven't noticed this, but I have noticed for Thunderbird and Gantt
Chart something similar to this and handled the case like this:

        My experimentation shows that if an Accessible *object has role
"application" and Accessible_isApplication(object) is true, object can
have children.  In my tests so far, these direct children of an
"application" have no parent.  Is that to be expected?
