Hi to all
I am experimenting same problem, using the festival synthesis system as
speech engine.
Seems that gnopernicus can not create a speaker, but I am not sure how to
trace this.
Can anyone make any ideas?
I have experimented some problems initializing the speech with gnome-speech
0.3.6, the speech becomes unavailable at start up, I have to go to 1.
startup mode and check speech again and apply to take effect, at that
moment the speech is again available.
Any comments?
Regards from Spain.
Javier

Subject: getting Gnopernicus to output more in Braille
Hi.
After my recent attempt to install gnome-speech 3.7 broke my speech
access, I'm using Gnopernicus with only Braille output.
Gnopernicus doesn't send all messages to the display. Functions such as
"describe surroundings" give no output in Braille, only speech.
Is it possible to change this? If so, please explain how.
Thanks in advance.
Kenny
