Hi

I've managed to install gnopernicus on my lfs 6.1.1.4 system. As advised,
gnome-speech would not work with festival 1.95 beta. Having installed three
TTS synthesisers one worked that was Dectalk, so I decided to see how far I
could go with that.

I aquired sighted help and I fired up startx and was presented with a window
containing a shell prompt. I thought that metacity wasn't running so I typed
metacity but the response suggested that metacity was running. I didn't
understand why alt+F2 didn't bring up the run dialog box. Anyway, I typed
gnopernicus and a number of errors occurred. My helper, couldn't read the text
properly so I thought I'd look in the logs and present them to these lists to
establish the solution if I wasn't able to see what was going on myself. Thus
this message, where do I look to find gnopernicus's error log?

Just out of interest, the error is concerning not being able to find libgale
and a gnome-mag library. I know that I've installed these

Using:

gnopernicus-0.11.8
gnome-speech-0.3.7
libbonobo-2.8.1
gnome-mag-0.12.1
libgail-gnome-1.1.1
freetts-1.2.1
festival-1.95-beta
