I've discovered if you don't enter selections correctly on boot menu you can't install ubuntu at all. Gnopernicus just closes down access to the rest of the system if it's started up after the gnome theme plays and that doesn't allow for running the install program. The espresso application doesn't talk well at all or maybe nothing does other than the archive manager outside of gnopernicus. Believe it or not, I managed to get into the archive manager and don't know what I did to have that happen. I wonder if that startup.exe file ubuntu uses to bring the system up on the Live Cd will look for any files with specific names say on a floppy and adjust its boot options accordingly. I'll have to research that one later this week. What would be found in say grub.conf that would enable assistive support? I would be using the blindness option and also the motor difficulties option. Those two are exclusive on that live CD but there's a plenty big boot menu there already. It would be helpful to have two short audio signals for the pc speaker say maybe 1 short beep and two short beeps for the arrival and departure of the boot screen in the future. The reason this is the case is that If you don't get the boot menu to take the options and do start up gnopernicus you're hermetically sealed inside of gnopernicus until you power down or reboot. Espresso doesn't talk or didn't and that was even when I got gnopernicus to start talking first and not have the gnome theme play using the boot screen. The boot screen seems only to work correctly once a day and it will work the first time you try to install but what the times are in seconds for when it first appears and departs is something I can't yet figure out. When I get ore information on system performance after I get it installed on this end I'll try to have it out in time for the next release.
