Wouldn't it be cool if you could use all of your favorite synthesized voices from Windows on Linux?
Besides being cool, it would also open up a huge possibility for further internationalization. For example the only useful Hebrew voice is by a company called Melingo[1], and they only support Windows SAPI. I bet Arabic has the same problem. I figure it shouldn't be impossible to make drivers for your favorite speech service with Wine[2]. In this fashion, almost all the Windows voices would be available on Linux. Now, just to find a wiki page to add that too and forget about it...
