If that's a dead end, I'm seeing that the last changes were pushed by Federico, see: https://gitlab.gnome.org/federico/java-atk-wrapper/merge_requests/1#note_307358 I'm not sure to what extent Federico is familiar with the code, but we can always reach to him too and see if he would accept to review your patches in the same way he did with Fridrich's. Federico is usually around the #ally channel on IRC. Also, if Fridrich is familiar with the code, maybe we can ask him to take a look at your patches. In parallel, It would be great if Samuel can get his patches submitted as merge requests so it's easier to review.
This is at least, for getting the patches merged into trunk. Then we'll figure out who can take over the module and produce new releases.
