Epic Records Internship- Fall 2008 In January 2008, Epic launched E-Pod, a grassroots artist development strategy. As we prepared to launch the third E-Pod, we are specifically looking for MUBG students to participate as team leaders for the next round – Fall 2008. E-Pod is a grassroots artist development marketing team focusing on, but not limited to, the digital space. The team formulates and executes an end-to-end strategy to build brand momentum in the market for an artist not yet prepared to fully leverage the Epic marketing machine. This is part of Epic's overall strategy to morph from a "record company" into a "music company" by signing artists to 360 deals and providing services that will deliver value across all revenue streams from day one. We are looking for at least 2 and up to 5 graduate interns who are capable of taking on real responsibility that will affect the artist career now and in the future. Roughly two days per week of commitment is expected, though more is encouraged. This is a selective program with openings in the following areas: · Online Publicity/Blog Outreach · College Marketing, Radio Promotion · Viral Marketing and Social Networks · Online Street Team · Video/Content Production, Promotion, and Distribution · Strategic Partnerships · Broader Integrated Digital Marketing Campaigns The program starts in September 2008 for Fall 2008.
