Hello, With the release of Cairo 1.8.10 a long awaited required bugfix landed to make Byzanz useful again, so here it is:
Byzanz is a screen recorder for your desktop. It can record to GIF Image, Ogg Theora video and others. http://download.gnome.org/sources/byzanz/0.2/byzanz-0.2.1.tar.gz sha256sum: 88d6c6df2b658a4c14df09abea38f4957e9c899931265b5c0e946666c137d6eb http://download.gnome.org/sources/byzanz/0.2/byzanz-0.2.1.tar.bz2 sha256sum: 03decdb00793510fe300d23d1838acdd9a18518824df6e639d49a9728af2cebe New in this release: - Allow recording audio with Theora video. - Add an internal debugging format - Add a byzanz-playback application for playback of the debugging format. - Cache recording on disk. Slow encoders will not consume all memory anymore. Note that a previous 0.2.0 release was made, but it required unreleased versions of software to run, so you will likely have forgotten about it.
