In 2.20 the products will be divided into classifications. Currently the following classifications exist: * Desktop * Platform * Bindings This is for products shipped with GNOME Desktop/Platform/Bindings. If a product is deprecated, but still shipped, it should still be in here. The official list should be: http://live.gnome.org/TwoPointThirteen_2fDesktop http://live.gnome.org/TwoPointThirteen_2fBindings http://live.gnome.org/TwoPointThirteen_2fPlatform
* Productivity Possible new GNOME 'release category' (like Desktop/Platform/Bindings). * Infrastructure Non-software stuff on bugzilla.gnome.org or software providing a vital service for GNOME. Think of: bugzilla.gnome.org, l10n, Release Engineering, HIG, but also GARGNOME and jhbuild (they are basic tools needed to build GNOME). * Deprecated Software that is not maintained or deprecated. Software shipped with GNOME is excluded (otherwise vte and a lot of other products would belong here) * Other Software not belonging to any other classification. * Unclassified Not a real classification, this just means the software must be classified into another one. I'd appreciate if someone could look at the classifications and check if the software is correctly classified. Extra points if you make an easy list I can copy paste. The products in each classification can be seen here: http://bugzilla-test.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi (login with your bugzilla.gnome.org username & password if it is needed) I think Desktop/Platform/Bindings/Productivity/Infrastructure is generally ok. Just a matter of classifying the 'Unclassified' and moving some software out of 'Deprecated' (whoops). Comments on the classifications themselves is welcome too. -- Regards, Olav _______________________________________________ Gnome-bugsquad mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-bugsquad
