- i don't know if so for every database, but when the field is of type date
(or time or timestamp) and it is null postgresql wants in csv file a
zero-lenght string; so i prepared another patch (in attach named
null_date.patch) (it makes use of the two functions that i send 2 days ago)
I've added a "NULL_AS_EMPTY" export option rather than applying your
patch which would have changed the way Libgda currently works (which
is bad for already installed applications), see
http://git.gnome.org/browse/libgda/commit/?id=5ccd3eb2c24fea2caad3c9bcc1640d578194f6de
thanks, but...
i don't know how it was possible, but i have an msaccess db with date
fields with invalid data inside, and without checking
date/time/timestamp validity when i export the table with gda-browser
i obtain a csv with invalid data
for example i get values like "1987-00-00 00.00.00+0"
can libgda validate the field value inside gda_value_stringify?
