Hey everyone. As posted to www.guadec.org, if you are employed in Germany you might be interested in knowing that GUADEC is a recognised educational leave event (Bildungsurlaub). Essentially, that means that you can get additional (paid) leave. Details vary a bit and currently it only applies to employees working in Hamburg, Hessen, Rheinland-Pfalz, or Saarland.
