Alright so time is almost upon us to consider a merge of the do-uiwork
branch i have been developing for the most part in solitude. The focus
of this branch was to improve not just the way the UI looks, but also
user interaction with it. So text mode, input, look and feel,
everything is being considered from the ground up. That which needed to
be rewritted was, that which did not, was not.

As it stands the following goals are met:
-SCIM Input (compose key works too)
-True text mode with full out editor
-Paste into Do with Ctrl+v
-Copy from Do with Ctrl+c
-Animated Bezel HUD clone interface
-Fixes to controller that reduce redundant searching and signals to the
UI

Unmet goals:
-Port Do Classic look to new animated style
-Support inline editing of text in editor
-Port static UI's to use new text mode interface

I believe that this work will be ready to merge sooner rather than
later. The Do Classic look port, while needed is not a deal breaker.
There is documentation that I will have to do before the merge can be
allowed, and I would like more testers too.

I also believe at this time we should consider attempting to detect what
colormaps the user has available to pick their default theme. If we
have compositing support, let's go with the shiny animated UI that
requires composite to look right. If we don't have composite, we will
stick it out with classic static UI's for them.

It is a high priority to get the SCIM input at the very least into
trunk, and I would in general like the whole thing moved over. There
are, as far as I know, no serious regressions except for the text mode
bugs. These are known and being worked on however and again, are not
deal breakers, just display issues.
