I just want to say that Gnome Do is really fantastic. 0.8 is amazing, Docky is amazing, the plugins are amazing. It really has quietly revolutionized the way I use my computer (my Gnome panel is quietly tucked away in a corner), and I find myself *sorely* missing it on my work computer (where I have to run Windows).
This just confirms my working theory that while open-source software (at least in the desktop arena) does not always create a new paradigm, it most certainly pushes the envelope of existing paradigms. Do marries Quicksilver (and now OS X's dock) in such a perfect way that it supersedes them both. -- Andrew Conkling http://andrewski.net --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GNOME Do" group.
