However on a separate note.. It might be nice to have a command such as "add to dropbox" or some such thing that creates the link to a private folder strictly for archiving purposes. One more thing I do wonder about... If you make a change from another computer to the file that you have linked to in the "do shared" folder... does it update the original file... or does it delete the link and replace it with an updated copy of the file? Possible issues here.
