I updated my apt sources to point to the Jaunty do-core PPA on launchpad late last week so that I could play with the new docklets. I've noticed two things about the changes (version 0.8.2):
* Do takes a larger initial memory footprint than in previous versions (now uses ~2% of available when starting; used to be < 1%) * There's an apparent memory leak. I did not restart Do for around 72 hours, and in that time it went from using ~2% of available memory to using around 40%. At the time, I had only the clock, trash, and weather docklets enabled. I've tried disabling the weather docklet today to see if the leak is specifically in that docklet, but I'm wondering if anybody else has noticed similar behavior. -- Matthew Weier O'Phinney [email protected] http://weierophinney.net/matthew/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GNOME Do" group.
