With a recent update to 0.8.2 (running on Jaunty, via the launchpad developer PPA), I've discovered an issue: a number of shell scripts that I've been invoking are now defaulting to the "Open" directive instead of "Run" -- which is both disconcerting and also a fair bit disconfiting. I now have to tab + down arrow in order to invoke these scripts. Despite repeatedly choosing this combination, Do is not remembering the combination, which is getting to be quite frustrating.
My questions are thus: * Shouldn't files marked with the executable bit default to "Run" as the action? * Why did the behavior change in the first place? * Why isn't Do learning my preference for selecting the "Run" action? -- Matthew Weier O'Phinney [email protected] http://weierophinney.net/matthew/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GNOME Do" group.
