I have rewritten two of the sections for the system-administration guide. They are available from here:

I am posting them in hopes that someone can review them and correct any mistages or make suggestions. I would like to have these merged in time for Monday's release candidate.... but I realize that may be unrealistic as I have a busy weekend.
