Oops? Is there some formalities I've missed? FWIW, evolution-kolab
has seen its releases on GNOME.org since 3.3.5 (pls. see [0]). Or is
this some standard practice? I have read [1] and [2], but I must admit
that I do not (yet) have much knowledge about all of these workflows.
Seemed to me that the 'ftpadmin install' did the teams notification
work now. Sorry if I missed something here, I'll be happy to receive
some education in this area. I guess, evolution-kolab has even been
mentioned in the current release notes draft for 3.4.0.

Is there a second? :) I've considered myself bound to it at least,
keeping up with string freeze and UI freeze. :)

Definitely! :-)
